A Marriage of Mind & Heart

A curious fact of history is the distinctive roles of two different peoples in God's spiritual revelation to mankind. Each has taken a prominent role in their respective segments of history, both for roughly 2000 years. While their personalities and spiritual products have clear differences, their complimentary natures have not been fully understood or appreciated. When modeled as shown here, the symmetry and beauty compels us to reexamine the traditional assumptions of each nations place in God's purposes. The model reveals a distinct 'personality' to both bodies. It becomes evident that each body consistently reflects the traits of a very familiar and basic model in life - the gender models, male and female. These tendencies permeate the cultural personalities of each group. Could this just be coincidental? For those that believe God is working out a master plan for humanity, evidence this compelling should not be dismissed. The shocking implication is this: In terms of corporate wholeness, neither is complete. Both are equally deficient in comprehending and manifesting ALL TRUTH (reality). Both see only half of God, the half that reflects their gender traits. Both have well developed relative truth but not all truth. It compels us to believe that we are on a journey now, but oneness is the destination. A marriage of truth is imminent, the two shall become one flesh.

Christians have been taught that they hold the spiritual high ground as opposed to Judaism. That they have superseded Judaism as God's greater revelation of truth. No, the model indicates this is just plain wrong. Christianity has represented another 'aspect' of God, but not a superior one. By looking at each line one can see that each nation has conformed to different but complimentary facets of truth and delivered each to the world.

How did this fascinating condition develop? Did God command it thus. Is it written in the Scriptures? No, to both questions. This is an example of God's 'invisible' sovereign will at work. He did not declare that this should happen. In both cases God's 'visible' or expressed will was that each nation know and express the fullness of truth. But by disobedience each nation veered off course directly into the 'invisible' purposes of God. Judaism hardened their heart, thus shutting themselves off from the 'heart' aspects of God, and Christianity, through arrogance, blinded their 'minds', thus shutting themselves off from the 'mind' aspects of God. In it all, God's perfect will was accomplished, and will soon be completed - in spite of us.

This truth will shake both peoples to their knees, resolving long-standing conflicts between them. It will produce a single united nation with a single 'faith' and a single lifestyle. It will produce the kingdom of God.
