Joshua 18:1 The whole assembly of the Israelites gathered at Shiloh and set up the Tent of Meeting there. The country was brought under their control,

(1 Ki 8:1-11 NIV) Then King Solomon summoned into his presence at Jerusalem the elders of Israel, all the heads of the tribes and the chiefs of the Israelite families, to bring up the ark of the Lord's covenant from Zion, the City of David. {2} All the men of Israel came together to King Solomon at the time of the festival in the month of Ethanim, the seventh month. {3} When all the elders of Israel had arrived, the priests took up the ark, {4} and they brought up the ark of the LORD and the Tent of Meeting and all the sacred furnishings in it. The priests and Levites carried them up, {5} and King Solomon and the entire assembly of Israel that had gathered about him were before the ark, sacrificing so many sheep and cattle that they could not be recorded or counted. {6} The priests then brought the ark of the Lord's covenant to its place in the inner sanctuary of the temple, the Most Holy Place, and put it beneath the wings of the cherubim. {7} The cherubim spread their wings over the place of the ark and overshadowed the ark and its carrying poles. {8} These poles were so long that their ends could be seen from the Holy Place in front of the inner sanctuary, but not from outside the Holy Place; and they are still there today. {9} There was nothing in the ark except the two stone tablets that Moses had placed in it at Horeb, where the LORD made a covenant with the Israelites after they came out of Egypt. {10} When the priests withdrew from the Holy Place, the cloud filled the temple of the LORD. {11} And the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the LORD filled his temple.

(1 Chr 6:32 NIV) They ministered with music before the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting, until Solomon built the temple of the LORD in Jerusalem. They performed their duties according to the regulations laid down for them.

(2 Chr 1:1-13 NIV) Solomon son of David established himself firmly over his kingdom, for the LORD his God was with him and made him exceedingly great. {2} Then Solomon spoke to all Israel--to the commanders of thousands and commanders of hundreds, to the judges and to all the leaders in Israel, the heads of families-- {3} and Solomon and the whole assembly went to the high place at Gibeon, for God's Tent of Meeting was there, which Moses the Lord's servant had made in the desert. {4} Now David had brought up the ark of God from Kiriath Jearim to the place he had prepared for it, because he had pitched a tent for it in Jerusalem. {5} But the bronze altar that Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, had made was in Gibeon in front of the tabernacle of the LORD; so Solomon and the assembly inquired of him there. {6} Solomon went up to the bronze altar before the LORD in the Tent of Meeting and offered a thousand burnt offerings on it. {7} That night God appeared to Solomon and said to him, "Ask for whatever you want me to give you." {8} Solomon answered God, "You have shown great kindness to David my father and have made me king in his place. {9} Now, LORD God, let your promise to my father David be confirmed, for you have made me king over a people who are as numerous as the dust of the earth. {10} Give me wisdom and knowledge, that I may lead this people, for who is able to govern this great people of yours?" {11} God said to Solomon, "Since this is your heart's desire and you have not asked for wealth, riches or honor, nor for the death of your enemies, and since you have not asked for a long life but for wisdom and knowledge to govern my people over whom I have made you king, {12} therefore wisdom and knowledge will be given you. And I will also give you wealth, riches and honor, such as no king who was before you ever had and none after you will have." {13} Then Solomon went to Jerusalem from the high place at Gibeon, from before the Tent of Meeting. And he reigned over Israel.

(1 Chr 22:1-17 NIV) Then David said, "The house of the LORD God is to be here, and also the altar of burnt offering for Israel." {2} So David gave orders to assemble the aliens living in Israel, and from among them he appointed stonecutters to prepare dressed stone for building the house of God. {3} He provided a large amount of iron to make nails for the doors of the gateways and for the fittings, and more bronze than could be weighed. {4} He also provided more cedar logs than could be counted, for the Sidonians and Tyrians had brought large numbers of them to David. {5} David said, "My son Solomon is young and inexperienced, and the house to be built for the LORD should be of great magnificence and fame and splendor in the sight of all the nations. Therefore I will make preparations for it." So David made extensive preparations before his death. {6} Then he called for his son Solomon and charged him to build a house for the LORD, the God of Israel. {7} David said to Solomon: "My son, I had it in my heart to build a house for the Name of the LORD my God. {8} But this word of the LORD came to me: 'You have shed much blood and have fought many wars. You are not to build a house for my Name, because you have shed much blood on the earth in my sight. {9} But you will have a son who will be a man of peace and rest, and I will give him rest from all his enemies on every side. His name will be Solomon, and I will grant Israel peace and quiet during his reign. {10} He is the one who will build a house for my Name. He will be my son, and I will be his father. And I will establish the throne of his kingdom over Israel forever.' {11} "Now, my son, the LORD be with you, and may you have success and build the house of the LORD your God, as he said you would. {12} May the LORD give you discretion and understanding when he puts you in command over Israel, so that you may keep the law of the LORD your God. {13} Then you will have success if you are careful to observe the decrees and laws that the LORD gave Moses for Israel. Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or discouraged. {14} "I have taken great pains to provide for the temple of the LORD a hundred thousand talents of gold, a million talents of silver, quantities of bronze and iron too great to be weighed, and wood and stone. And you may add to them. {15} You have many workmen: stonecutters, masons and carpenters, as well as men skilled in every kind of work {16} in gold and silver, bronze and iron--craftsmen beyond number. Now begin the work, and the LORD be with you." {17} Then David ordered all the leaders of Israel to help his son Solomon.
